Description

Dietary Supplement Label Database (DSLD) is a free collection of information taken from the labels of dietary supplement products sold in the United States. This information includes the name and form of the ingredients, amounts of the dietary ingredients and percent of the Daily Value (DV) of nutrients, the manufacturer/distributor, health-related claims, warning statements, and an image of the package label. It is designed for use by consumers, health care providers, and researchers.

DSLD was created by the Office of Dietary Supplements (ODS) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). ODS obtains label information for dietary supplement products in the U.S. and adds it to the database. The manufacturer or distributor is responsible for this label information, and the ODS does not check or verify that it conforms to U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and legal requirements.
