As the Director of Special Collections and University Archives, I oversee a team of archivists, librarians, and staff who facilitate the discovery, visibility, accessibility, and impact of the Libraries’ nationally and internationally recognized special collections and archives. I joined SC&UA after ten years at the Institute of Jazz Studies at Rutgers University – Newark. I began my archives career at the Sousa Archives and Center for American Music at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I worked as an archivist for eight years. I have an MS degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an MA degree in American Studies from Rutgers University-Newark.
