Covidence
Covidence is only available to Rutgers University affiliates and requires a personal account.
A) New students, staff, and faculty users, select the Connect to Database link, choose “Sign in with SSO,” and sign in with NetID to create a new Covidence account.
B) New users who are Rutgers guests, go to the signup page and create a new Covidence account using your @rutgers.edu email. Then request an invitation to join Rutgers' account, being sure to enter your @rutgers.edu email address.
C) If you are a Rutgers affiliate with NetID and already have a Covidence account that isn’t affiliated with Rutgers, and you would like to join your existing account to Rutgers' account:
- Log into your existing Covidence account and change your primary email address to the exact format netID@rutgers.edu. Then log out.
- Select the Connect to Database link, choose “Sign in with SSO,” and sign in with NetID. Covidence will link your existing account to your NetID, and you will sign in with NetID going forward.
- You will be able to see all your reviews in your account, and new reviews you create will be associated with Rutgers, but your old reviews won’t be associated with Rutgers. Please email support@covidence.org if you would like to move them to Rutgers’ account.
Covidence is a tool for creating and collaborating on systematic reviews. You may use it to complete title/abstract screening, full-text screening, data extraction, and quality assessment. Covidence was designed by researchers familiar with the systematic review process to make conducting reviews more efficient. Covidence does not contain full-text articles; rather, you may import your references into Covidence and use it help perform your systematic review analysis. You may collaborate on your reviews with any other registered Covidence users, whether or not they are Rutgers affiliates.
