Description

Family & Society Studies Worldwide is an index of research, policy, and practice literature in the fields of family science, human ecology, human development, and social welfare. The database has an international perspective, and citations are drawn from a wide range of social science disciplines, including anthropology, sociology, psychology, health sciences, demography, education, economics, law, social work, and history.

Document types indexed include journal articles, books, book chapters, conference papers, discussion materials, government reports, statistical documents, theses and dissertations, and working papers.

Family & Society Studies Worldwide incorporates records from the four databases Family & Society Studies Database, Australian Family & Society Abstracts, U.S. Military Family Resource Center Documents Database, and National Clearinghouse on Family Violence, Health Canada. It is also the continuation of the print index Inventory of Marriage and Family Literature.
