International Pharmaceutical Abstracts is an index of worldwide pharmacology, pharmacy, and health-related drug literature published from 1970 to the present. Citations come from over 800 journals, including all U.S. state pharmacy journals. The resources indexed in this database cover a wide range of drug therapy and pharmaceutical topics, including biopharmaceuticals, pharmacokinetics, drug delivery systems, pharmacist liability, and legal, political, and ethical issues. Abstracts for clinical studies are a highlight of the database, and they include the study design, number of patients, dosage, dosage forms, and dosage schedule.
