IPA Source is a collection of IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) transcriptions and literal translations of art songs and arias originally written in French, German, Italian, Latin, and Spanish. It also includes IPA transcriptions of art songs and arias written in English. In addition, it contains IPA transcriptions and translations of Latin texts regularly set to music, such as the Ordinary of the Mass and the Requiem. IPA Source is designed to aid singers in correct comprehension and pronunciation of song texts. In total, it contains more than 15,000 texts, including over 2,000 arias.
