PsycCRITIQUES

PsycCRITIQUES is a searchable database of book reviews in psychology. It was published by the American Psychological Association from 2004 to Fall 2017. The Center for the History of Psychology at the University of Akron, in partnership with APA, now hosts a free public version of PsycCRITIQUES, which includes all reviews published in the PsycCRITIQUES database from September 2004 to Fall 2017 and all reviews published in the print journal Contemporary Psychology: APA Review of Books from 1956 to 2004. There are 43,000+ reviews; most are book reviews, but some are film reviews, and some are comparative or retrospective book reviews. No new content is being added to the database; the most recent content is from Fall 2017.
