Thesaurus Linguae Graecae

Thesaurus Linguae Graecae is a digital library of Greek literature that includes virtually all Greek texts surviving from the period between Homer (8. B.C.) to the fall of Byzantium (A.D. 1453), plus a large number of additional Greek texts dating up to the 20th century. In total, it includes over 10,000 works associated with over 4,000 authors. The database provides information about the names, dates, geographical origins, and descriptive epithets for each author, together with detailed bibliographical information about existing text editions for each work.

A variety of searching and browsing options are available, including searching the canon by author, editor, work, or publication; searching through the text of the entire corpus; searching by lemma for lexicographic information; comparing n-grams; viewing word usage statistics; and more. To view some texts, a polytonic Greek font must be installed on your computer.
