TRID is an index of worldwide transportation research, including journal articles, books, conference proceedings, and technical reports. In total, it contains more than 1.25 million records. TRID combines the records from Transportation Research Board (TRB)’s Transportation Research Information Services (TRIS) Database and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)’s Joint Transport Research Centre’s International Transport Research Documentation (ITRD) Database.

TRID also includes records for transportation research from J-STAGE (the database of the Japan Science and Technology Agency), ATRI (Australian Transport Index), and major transportation libraries.

TRID is primarily an index, but some records in TRID include links to full-text documents. Rutgers does not have access to some of these linked documents.
