UpToDate
In addition to this website, UpToDate offers a mobile app. To register for the app, access the website through the link on this page, and then create an UpToDate personal account using the Register button. Then download the app and log in with this personal account. You will need to access the website through the link on this page and log into it with your personal account every 90 days to maintain access to the app.
UpToDate is a point-of-care information resource which contains over 10,000 clinical topics representing 25 specialties. In addition to searching the entire resource or viewing Topics by Specialty, there are options to view the newest updates (What's New), Practice Changing Updates, Drug Information, and Patient Education information (which is available in English and Spanish). Other features include standard medical calculators, a drug interactions analysis tool, and an UpToDate for Anki add-on. Specialties included are:

UptoDate is searchable in several languages, though its content is almost entirely in English. UpToDate is updated continuously with current medical information by expert physician authors, peer reviewers, and editors.
Users must register for personal accounts to access the UpToDate mobile app or earn CME/CE/CPD credits. To register, follow the Connection Note instructions above. Any email address may be used to register. You may install the app on up to two devices. Only authorized Rutgers University users may access and/or download the UpToDate app. To earn continuing education credits, you must log in with your personal account every time you use UpToDate. UpToDate is accredited and recognized as a continuing education resource by numerous associations.
To download the UpToDate for Anki add-on, log into UpToDate and, in the account dropdown, select UpToDate for Anki Add-On. Follow the instructions to install the add-on and open it in the latest version of Anki.
