HeritageQuest is a genealogical database with government records, census data and auxiliary resources for family history research. It includes sources from over 60 countries. Records include U.S. Federal Census records; U.S. county records; birth, marriage, and death records; city records and directories; immigration records; cemetery records; family histories; military records; wills and probate records; Freedman’s Bank records; a subset of U.S. Serial Set records; maps; and photos.
HeritageQuest contains some, but not all, of the data from Ancestry.com. Rutgers does not have access to the complete body of Ancestry.com data, nor does Rutgers have access to the premium version of Ancestry.com.
