ProQuest Dissertations & Theses @ Rutgers University

Dissertations & Theses @ Rutgers University is a database of doctoral dissertations and master's theses completed at Rutgers University. It is a subset of the larger ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global database. It covers all disciplines, and it is updated every semester with newly completed Rutgers dissertations and theses. Each Rutgers graduate school chooses whether to require graduates to deposit their work, so not all Rutgers dissertations and theses can be found in this database. The database includes the full text of most recent dissertations and theses; for earlier years, it typically contains only indexing or indexing and abstracts. Use these year ranges as a rough guide:

• Indexing only: 1884 - 1979
• Indexing with abstracts: 1980 - 1996
• Indexing, abstracts, and full text content: 1997 - present

Many dissertations and theses are also available for purchase using the "Order a Copy" link. However, some authors have chosen not to make their works available to view or purchase.
