In the spirit of Rutgers President Jonathan Holloway's "This is What Excellence Looks Like" inauguration speech, Robeson Library invites you to check out our new display of Rutgers University—Camden faculty publications and a mini-exhibit highlighting the inaugurations of past Rutgers Presidents Edward J. Bloustein and Francis L. Lawrence.

Dr. Edward J. Bloustein served as Rutgers 17th President from 1971 until 1989, and under his leadership, the university achieved the "distinction as one of the major public research universities in the nation. In February 1989, the university was invited to join 56 other prestigious academic institutions that make up the Association of American Universities" (Frusciano, 1993, p. 35).

The inauguration celebration of Rutgers 18th President, Francis L. Lawrence, coincided with the dedication ceremony of Paul Robeson Library on February 25, 1991. President Lawrence, Paul Robeson, Jr., and actor Avery Brooks spoke at the library's renaming ceremony.

The display of Rutgers-Camden faculty publications is located on our main floor across from the circulation desk. Additional titles can be found in the Faculty Publications alcove on the main floor of the library across from the IT Lab scanning station.
