Please tune in to PHL17 on Sunday, February 12, at 1:00 p.m. to watch Paul Robeson Library librarian and author John Maxymuk's segment on Black quarterbacks in the National Football League (NFL).
The In Focus interview will be streamed online at phl17.com/in-focus. Maxymuk will also discuss the historic Super Bowl LVII—the first featuring two Black starting quarterbacks: Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs and Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Maxymuk is a reference and instruction librarian and head of public services at Paul Robeson Library, Rutgers–Camden. He is the author of many books on football, including NFL Head Coaches: A Biographical Dictionary, 1920-2011; Pioneer Coaches of the NFL; Strong Arm Tactics; Eagles by the Numbers: Jersey Numbers and the Players Who Wore Them; Uniform Numbers of the NFL: All-Time Rosters, Facts and Figures; Eagles Facts and Trivia: Puzzlers for the Bird-Brained; and Quarterback Abstract.
