Foreign Office Files for Japan consists of digitized files from the British Foreign Office regarding Japan. Rutgers has access to three modules in this collection:
Module I: Japanese Imperialism and the War in the Pacific, 1931-1945
Module II: Occupation of Japan, 1946-1952
Module III: Japan and Great Power Status, 1919-1930
A variety of material types are included, such as memoranda, reports, minute sheets, correspondence, maps, newspaper cuttings, printed leaflets, extracts from books, and booklets.
